Hey ummm i just got my dog yesterday and it kinda new born since you gotta wait 2 months to take em away from their mother and in my case my dog is a pinscher and that race tends to get cold easily and the worst part is that its real cold here considering its almost winter(it is winter but its not snowing yet) and i think my treats are a little to big for her because shes still a baby/puppy…. What should i do?!?!

when i take my dog out he doesn’t pee or anything. but the second we come in he does his buisness right in front of my room, idk what to do because when he does RARELY pee and crap i reward him and he still doesnt understand… idk if its hard to teach him because his breed (pitbull and lab) but i really need help.. what should i do?

She still isn’t used to being left alone yet. When you leave her alone, and she started to whimpering/crying…don’t go to her or give her attention because you’re only reinforcing that behavour. She might even beginning to bark too..but you should remain firm, and ignore her. My dog was like that too, after 2 weeks of whinning and barking…he is fine now! You should try to train her during the day since it would be lot of noise.

a gate is a good idea:), i would potty train her if i were you, so she dosent poo all over the house:P .. good to hear you walk her:) goodluck!

  8. Blackheartz75 says:

Okay thanks Trust me i walk her like 3 times every day and i enjoy it. She is very sweet our crate is big enough for her to lay down and walk around. I dont keep her in the crate a lot either . We got a doggy gate to make everything easier =)

  9. LinaZCullen says:

well it really depends how big the crate is.. if you do keep her in her crate please please please dont forget to have someone exersize her:), i wouldnt keep her in the crate for hours .. just because dogs become destruptive if they dont get the right amount of exersize especially if your dog is really hyper;), have someone watch her at home, a dog is a big responsability if you have to keep your dog in the crate for hours, then you shouldnt have got one, its not fair to the dog & no problem:)

  10. Blackheartz75 says:

Thanks im going to try that. Should i keep my dog in her crate when i go to school cause she rlly doesn’t like it shes 5 months old and real tiny for now. And if we leave her out of the crate she well go and crap everywhere!

  11. LinaZCullen says:

let her stay in the same place even if she whimpers:), because after she does her business she will get a treat, and realize.. why she is in that area.. and wont whimper anymore:), hyper dogs are harder to potty train i have 5 german sheppards and they were really hard to potty train at first, but .. you have to be really patient:) and its all worth it in the end, now my dogs know how to pee and poop on command:)

  12. Blackheartz75 says:

first no more pig ears, then let the animal eat in peace. You dog needs you to show some more puppy love.

  16. spo224 says:

hey i have a question for you i have a 13 week old rootwieler and she is aggresive like example if i take a pig ear away from her she’ll growl at me or show her teeth how do i break her from these insticts/

  17. SilentPunk101 says:

who cares! you MUST MUST MUST take her outside no matter how cold it is! I just got a puppy myself, and I make it the priority for him to be out; especially when he gets up in the am, after he drinks and def after he eats. You must do this or you are going to have one confused dog on your hands!

  18. TheHayleysb says:

Tap your dog on the nose when it trys to bite.

  19. DalstromHaughton says:

You can push on the dog’s tonguein its mouth..It makes the dog unable to bite down…It does not harm the dog and limit to doing this when the dog is biting so that he makes the connection with the pushing down on the tongue with biting too hard.

  20. sreddy117 says:

let out a high pitched yelp yourself, or gently close its mouth for about 2 seconds without squeezing, I am having the same proble with my puppy

  21. qtpie035 says:

try to do that outside with my 2 month old chihuahua but it doent work :l

  22. Chrystal80 says:

You should start toilet training your puppy as soon as you bring him/her home!!! People worry about vaccinations, and puppy pad train them for a few weeks… this really isnt a good idea. You are in fact just teaching your dog it is OK to toilet indoors. The diseases you vaccinate your dog for can be brought in on your clothes/shoes… so they are at risk whether they step foot outside or not!

  23. Chrystal80 says:

I suggest you start having a leash on your dog each time you take him out to potty. It’s natural for a puppy to get very easily distracted and he will be very distracted outside! he will think it’s play time! and if he isn’t on a leash, he will run around, sniff everything and forget about being out their to toilet. If you keep him on a leash, he is right by you and cannot run off and do things other than go potty. Once he has gone potty on the leash reward him and praise him lots!
