I got my GS 4 days ago, she is 9 weeks old and she already learned how to do her stuff in the training pads. Amazing. You need to follow a few steps and they learn really fast.

when I got my dog he was about 3 months old and very playful. I keep him in the house and we stayed like in the back woods where neighbors were like 200 or more feet away. No he does not like other dogs at all, but loves kids…every time he sees little kids he wants to go run and play with them. one thing I noticed is he won’t jump on them and like he does me like he knows they are delicate…very smart dog and all we taught him was not to use it in the house lol

Heh, well I think he overstated.

the guy below is a moron, shepherds dont run away from you >.> if they love you they will stay by you until they die.

I think he was focusing on the socializing the dog. We did not do that to my dog and he is a fucking deadly killing machine. When you take him on walks he goes into predator mode and seriously wants to kill shit. You need a choke chain and a strong arm.

Did not show him around to other people or dogs so he is like a wolf.

  11. DavidTheCatholic says:

  12. fastandfurioustokyo says:

i run outside in the morning so its going to be great!, the name is bullet lol, 8weeks old

  13. whois120000 says:

He means the dog will be disobedient, run away from you until they get the exercise they need. German Shepherd needs exercise so if you are an active outdoors person you should be fine if you take your dog with you. If your families hardly ever do outside activities this is not the dog for you.

by nightmare you mean the german sheppy is gonna eat your face of and then have your bones for dinner? or by nightmare you mean as in not going to do much as a dog should do?

MestizaMamita…..Its difficult to work and to be a pet owner. The key is exercise. As far as your dogs health theres a lady on here..I have her favorited. I beleive her screename is TotalGermanShepherds, her name is Deb and she can probably give you a better idea of your dogs health. If you are concerned dont hesitate and take your pup to your vet. Could be parvo or something worse. Good Luck and let us know how things went (Check my vid to see my GSD)

  21. Bully8668 says:

@MestizaMamita so hows your dog doing ????

  22. trotthefox says:

:O oh no you’re kidding :( (( all the best with the treatment.

  23. MestizaMamita says:

Thank u for everything but now i’m even MORE worried & it’s all bad bc she has distemper !! =( omg I knew it had to be something worse.. =/

  24. trotthefox says:

@MestizaMamita i just got a german shepherd pup who is nearly 8 weeks old and he’s pretty much the same u explained urs to be. the vet said that its normal for them to sleep a lot [which was a relief as it worried me also]. i manage to get him up and playing by rolling and bouncing a tennis ball around him until he tries to pounce on it, then i take it away and so on and so on. also one of those toys where u put the snack in side is also really good.

    wow this is long. gl.

  25. MestizaMamita says:

Yea but she’s only 2 months and they say she can’t be out really walking around until 4 months when she’s had most of her shots. ..what am I suppose 2 do with her in the meantime? ..She sleeps a whole lot. ..but is real mellow like not really active when I play with her or she plays with her toys.. ..I started getn worried that maybe somethings wrong with her?
