www.pamsdogacademy.com I have started some distance work with Twix and teaching him to follow my body language. He will need this skill when we are out on the agility course. I am teaching him how to go out and around an object. Many think that one should not use a pole to send a dog around and I have not had a problem with this. My dogs know the difference between 1 weave pole and 12. So, I am not worried at all that this will ruin their weave poles. Here is a short tutorial on how to train this. You might need to use food to lure your dog around the first few times. My dogs all love to work for toys, so that is what I use. They will work for food, but would rather have toys. :) I threw in some footage of Bandit doing the final product and variations of it. I also added a few tricks at the end, just for fun. :) Enjoy!
